In 2018, Alia Adi, a Swiss foodpreneur with an unwavering passion for the delicate art of macaron-making, began crafting these exquisite treats from her cozy home kitchen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she was based at the time. What started as a heartfelt home business quickly blossomed into something much bigger. By 2019, Alia’s dream had taken flight, she moved back to her hometown Fribourg in Switzerland to create Maison Amarella - a macarons company that transcends borders, one flavor at a time.
